4 New Talcum Powder Lawsuits Filed in California State Court

LOS ANGELES –– Four new talc-based powder exposure complaints have been filed in California state court over the past week, all pointing to Baby Powder and Shower-to-Shower as the direct cause of their ovarian cancer diagnoses.

Plaintiffs in the four complaints, filed in the California Superior Court for Los Angeles County, are represented by at least five different plaintiff law firms.

In one complaint, filed June 21, plaintiff Sara K. Hatanaka said she develop ovarian cancer after using the defendant’s Baby Powder and Shower-to-Shower products. Hatanaka expressly disclaimed any claims that would invoke federal jurisdiction.
