ST. LOUIS –– Johnson & Johnson defendants have removed another talc-based powder exposure lawsuit to federal court, maintaining that complete diversity of citizenship is present.

Defendants Johnson & Johnson and Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. removed the complaint to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri on June 22. The same day, the defendants filed a motion to dismiss one of the plaintiff’s claims for lack of personal jurisdiction and improper venue.

Plaintiffs Charles Fenstemaker and Sisi Harris asserted the claims on behalf of Teresa Fenstemaker and Phyllis Brown, respectively. In their suit, the plaintiffs said the …
