Superstorm Sandy Claimant Ordered to Comply with Insurer’s Post-Deposition Demands

MINEOLA, N.Y. — A New York judge has ordered a Superstorm Sandy claimant to comply with a defendant insurer’s post-deposition demands, holding that failure to do so will bar her from offering evidence of damage to her dwelling.

On June 7, Judge Jerome Murphy of the Nassau County Supreme Court also directed the plaintiff to provide an affidavit advising whether or not she has records as to gutter and leader repairs.
