Benzene Complaint Filed in Arkansas Federal Court by Former Employee of Packaging Plant

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. –– An Arkansas couple has filed a benzene-related complaint in federal court, contending that one of the plaintiffs was exposed to carcinogenic products during his course of employment at a packaging plant.

The plaintiffs filed the lawsuit on June 9 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.

Plaintiffs Michael and Carolyn Hall asserted the claims, contending that Michael Hall’s employed at the International Paper/Evergreen Packaging Plant for more than 40 years required him to work with benzene-containing products.
