NexGen Knee Implant MDL Court Orders Parties to Negotiate Specifics of ‘Lone Pine’ Order

CHICAGO –– The federal court overseeing the national coordinated docket for claims arising out of the allegedly defective Zimmer NexGen Knee Implant has issued an order instructing the parties to negotiate the specific terms of a ‘Lone Pine’ order, saying that recent circumstances –– specifically, the dismissal of two cases set for trial in the fall –– warrant an entry of such order.
