Canadian Citizens File Class Action Lawsuit Against Johnson & Johnson for Injuries Allegedly Related to Talc-Based Powder Products

TORONTO –– A group of Canadians have filed a class action lawsuit against Johnson & Johnson defendants in a Toronto court, contending that the defendants were negligent in the development, testing, design, manufacturing and distribution of their Baby Powder products.
In a complaint filed May 18 in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the plaintiffs said that they developed ovarian cancer as a result of the alleged exposure.
The suit was filed by plaintiffs on their own behalf and on behalf of all members of a class similarly situated.
