N.J. Federal Court Issues CMO in Durom Hip Cup MDL Proceedings in Light of Settlement Agreement

TRENTON, N.J. –– The federal court overseeing the national coordinated docket for claims relating to Zimmer’s Durom Hip Cup has filed a Case Management Order regarding a pending settlement agreement reached by the parties.

In the May 13 document filed with the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the Zimmer defendants and the Claimants’ Liaison Counsel noted that they have entered into a binding settlement agreement to resolve the cases of those plaintiffs that underwent a revision of a Durom Acetabular Component.
