ST. LOUIS –– The Johnson & Johnson defendants involved in a talc-based powder exposure suit recently removed to federal court have moved to dismiss the majority of the plaintiffs for lack of jurisdiction, contending that the St. Louis state court in which the claims were originally filed has a history of “impermissible practice … playing host to nationwide plaintiffs whose claims lack the requisite jurisdictional connection to the City.”
