N.Y. Judge Admits Texas Attorney to Represent Plaintiff in Superstorm Sandy Coverage Action

MINEOLA, N.Y. — A New York judge has admitted Phillip N. Sanov of the Merlin Law group as counsel for the plaintiff in a Superstorm Sandy coverage action, noting that the application was timely because the action is still in its early stages.

In a May 9 order, Judge Jerome C. Murphy of the Nassau County Supreme Court further explained that the participation of another attorney on behalf of the plaintiff will not unduly delay trial.
