Cook’s Efforts to Bar Discovery Regarding FDA Reports in IVC Filter MDL Thwarted by Ind. Judge

INDIANAPOLIS — An Indiana federal magistrate judge has denied Cook Medical Inc.’s efforts to bar plaintiffs in the IVC filter multidistrict litigation from seeking information concerning the manufacturer’s alleged failure to report adverse events to the FDA, ruling that such evidence may be relevant to the claims.
