Zimmer Selects New Oct. Trial Selection for NexGen Knee Implant MDL Docket in Light of Dismissal

CHICAGO –– A bellwether trial selection in the national coordinated docket for claims relating to Zimmer’s NexGen Knee Implant has indicated his intent to dismiss his case, shortly after the defendant served discovery on the plaintiff.

According to a notice filed March 25 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Zimmer said it intends to select Goldin (12-02048) to replace the aforementioned case as a bellwether trial candidate.
