HARTFORD, Conn. — A Connecticut federal judge has transferred an Eliquis wrongful death case to the Northern District of Texas, noting that the decedent was a Texas resident, his death occurred in that state, and a large portion of the documents can be found in Texas.
Senior Judge Warren W. Eginton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut further noted that the nonparty witnesses involved in the decedent’s medical treatment are most likely also in Texas.
