NEWARK, N.J. — A New Jersey federal judge has dismissed without prejudice a Superstorm Sandy business interruption coverage action, explaining that the parties have notified the court that they reached a settlement.

In a Feb. 19 order, Judge Susan Wigenton of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey noted that the court will retain jurisdiction over the settlement agreement to enforce its terms. She added that the parties may, within 60 days, seek to reopen the action if the settlement is not consummated.
