NexGen Knee Implant MDL Plaintiff Moves to Remand Case, Says Reason for Loosening Outside Scope of MDL

CHICAGO –– A plaintiff with claims pending in the national coordinated docket for injuries relating to Zimmer’s NexGen Knee Implant has moved to remand her case, saying that recent medical documents indicate that the reasons for the loosening in her case do not fall into the scope of the MDL.

In the Feb. 11 motion the plaintiff asked the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois to remand her case or, in the alternative, dismiss it without prejudice with leave to re-file.
