Calif. Supreme Court to Hear Arguments Relating to Sophisticated Intermediary Dispute in Asbestos Case




SAN FRANCISCO –– The California Supreme Court has scheduled oral arguments in a sophisticated intermediary dispute in which asbestos plaintiffs have maintained that the jury’s decision to enforce liability on Special Electric for its sale of asbestos was correct and supported by the evidence presented at trial.

According to the court’s online docket, oral arguments relating to the matter will be heard by the high court on March 1 at 10:00 a.m., nearly three years after the petition for review was initially filed.
