NEWARK, N.J. — A federal magistrate judge has terminated a Superstorm Sandy plaintiff’s motion for reconsideration of a discovery order in light of the plaintiff’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.

In a Jan. 21 order, Magistrate Judge Douglas E. Arpert of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey explained that in order for this action to be prosecuted, approval is required from the bankruptcy court.
