Wyoming Federal Jury Reaches Defense Verdict in Favor of Flowserve at Conclusion of Asbestos Trial

CHEYENNE, Wyo. –– A Wyoming federal jury has reached a defense verdict in favor of defendant Flowserve, rejecting claims that a former chemical plant employee developed mesothelioma as a result of exposure to asbestos in the defendant’s pumps and/or valves.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming jury reached the verdict on Dec. 1 after a three-week trial. The jury reached its verdict after just one hour of deliberations, sources told HarrisMartin.
