BATON ROUGE, La. — An insurer may file an amended witness and exhibit list in a dispute over coverage for property damage caused by Hurricane Isaac in order to provide the court with information concerning the policyholder’s subsequent sale of the home and repairs made in connection with that sale.

On Nov. 17, Judge John W. DeGravelles of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana found that this information is relevant in the court’s determination of the actual cash value of repairs that are covered under the policy.
