SAN FRANCISCO –– A California court overseeing the state’s coordinated docket for DePuy ASR hip implant claims has granted a motion to remand and a motion for a preferential trial setting, concluding that “trial preference is necessary to prevent prejudicing plaintiff’s interest in the litigation.”

In two separate orders entered Oct. 14 of the California Superior Court for San Francisco County ordered that the matter be set for trial no more than 120 days from the date of the order.
