$8 Million Awarded to Insulator Who Worked at Exxon Mobil Site




SAN FRANCISCO - A San Francisco jury has awarded more than $8 million to a former insulator who was diagnosed with mesothelioma after years of working around asbestos products at several Bay Area job sites, including one overseen by Exxon Mobil Corp. Vasen v. Exxon Mobil Corp., No. 312211 (Calif. Super. Ct., San Francisco Cty.).

Exxon was the lone remaining defendant at trial when, on March 21, the jury awarded Alan Vasen $8,224,600.
