Plaintiffs’ Counsel in Zimmer Durom Hip MDL Update State Court Colleagues on Discovery Issues

NEWARK, N.J. – Plaintiffs’ liaison counsel in the Zimmer (NYSE: ZMH) Durom Hip Cup proceedings in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey have updated their colleagues in state court actions on discovery proceedings, including a willingness of the parties to allow access to materials already discovered from defendant in the MDL.

Wendy R. Fleishman, one of three liaison counsel for plaintiffs in the federal MDL, said in an April 17 letter copied to the court that the update was requested by Magistrate Judge Madeline Arleo at a recent status conference.
