Pennsylvania State Court Denies Motion to Transfer Silica Claim

PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia judge has denied without prejudice a motion to transfer a silica personal injury claim to nearby Lancaster County. Horst v. U.S. Silica Co., No. 3542 (Pa. Comm. Pls., Philadelphia Cty.)

The order was issued Sept. 10, according to court sources. It followed a motion filed in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court by defendant Textron, Inc., Siebe North Inc. and Norton Co.
