JPML Grants Petition for Consolidation of Serzone Product Liability Cases

WASHINGTON-The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (JPML) granted a petition to consolidate six product liability cases filed against the manufacturers of the antidepressant Serzone. In re: Serzone Products Liability Litigation, MDL 1477 (S.D.W.Va.).

The JPML's Aug. 12 transfer order stated that In re: Serzone Products Liability Litigation MDL 1477 (S.D. W.V.) will be centralized in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. The Honorary Joseph R. Goodwin will preside over the proceedings.
