LOS ANGELES - A California woman, who allegedly suffered injuries as a result of her ingestion of Baycol, filed a lawsuit June 28 against the drug's manufacturer claiming that they knowingly concealed the potential dangers of the drug in their warnings and advertising. Perez v. Bayer Corp., et al., No. BC-276789 (Calif. Super. Co. Los Angeles Cty.).

Baudelia Perez claims she would not have purchased the drug if she had known of the its risks and dangers. Perez claims that the manufacturer placed more emphasis in the warnings on less severe side effects such as pharyngitis, rhinitis, and headaches rather …
