BENTON, Ill. - An Illinois federal judge has transferred a Wright Medical hip implant case to another district within the state, saying that despite the likelihood that the case will soon be moved to the newly created MDL, transfer is appropriate now in the interests of justice and for the convenience of the parties. Ames v. Wright Medical Technology, Inc., et al., No. 11-cv-1132-JPG-PMF (S.D. Ill.).
