JPML Assigns Wright Medical Conserve Hip Cases to MDL in Atlanta

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has issued transfer orders assigning the first four actions to a newly created MDL for Wright Medical "Conserve" hip implant cases in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. In re: Wright Medical Technology, Inc., Conserve Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2329 (N.D. Ga.).

The panel assigned the cases Feb. 8 to District Judge William S. Duffey Jr. for coordinated or consolidated pre-trial proceedings.
