NEW ORLEANS - A Louisiana federal judge has denied a plaintiff leave to submit a sealed brief opposing dismissal of his ASR hip implant suit against DePuy, saying the material doesn't fit within the parameters set by the court in a stipulated protective order in another case. Reichert v. Starring, et al., No. 11-2171 (E.D. La.).
Judge Sarah S. Vance did allow plaintiff Robert Reichert to seal portions of his accompanying exhibits, including a hospital bill and ASR pricing information, but otherwise denied Reichert's request as overbroad.
