CHICAGO - The federal judge presiding over the Zimmer NexGen Knee Implant MDL has denied a joint motion to vacate or stay deadlines imposed by originating courts but asked counsel to prepare an amended motion expressly limited to transferred cases. In re: Zimmer NexGen Knee Implant Product Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2272 [Master Docket No. 1:11-cv-05468] (N.D. Ill.).

Judge Rebecca R. Pallmeyer granted plaintiff and defense counsel's agreed motion for clarification on Aug. 31, and asked counsel to prepare the draft order.
