TRENTON, N.J. - A New Jersey federal judge has dismissed state law fraud and negligent misrepresentation claims brought against Bristol Meyers Squibb-Co. and Sanofi-Aventis U.S. Inc. in connection with their marketing and sale of the anti-blood clotting drug Plavix. Money v. Bristol-Meyers Squibb Co., et al., No. 3:07-110 (D. N.J.)
In a Dec. 30 order, Judge Freda L. Wolfson of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey ruled that the claims, brought under Oklahoma state law, were inadequately pled.
