WASHINGTON, D.C. - In reversing a special master's findings, a federal judge ruled that three out of five petitioners are entitled to compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program because they established a proximate temporal relationship between the hepatitis B vaccine and the onset of their autoimmune hepatitis (AIH). Rotoli, et al. v. Secretary of Health and Human Services, Nos. 99-644V, 99-631V, 99-660V, 99-639V, 01-307V (Fed. Cl. Ct.).
