PHILADELPHIA - Arbitrators did not exceed their authority by refusing to order Fencourt Reinsurance Company Ltd. to pay interest, attorney's fees and costs to Century Indemnity Co., a Pennsylvania federal judge has ruled. Century Indemnity Co. v. Fencourt Reinsurance Company Ltd., No. 09-MC-53 (E.D. Pa.).

On July 22, Judge Anita B. Brody of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania held that the arbitration panel's interpretation of the reinsurance agreements was reasonable.
