CHICAGO - Two CNA companies have filed an amended complaint in a $1.7 million dispute over whether their commutation agreement with SCOR Group includes certain reinsurance contracts issued by Allstate Insurance Co. and Unity Fire and General Insurance Co. Continental Casualty Co., et al. v. Commercial Risk Re-Insurance Co., No. 1:07-cv-06912 (N.D. Ill.).

Continental Casualty Co. and Continental Insurance Co. (CNA) filed the amended complaint on May 13 after Judge Harry D. Leinenweber of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois refused to send the dispute to arbitration. The amended complaint removes the reference to attorneys' fees …
