HACKENSACK, N.J. - The New Jersey Supreme Court has transferred all pending Zelnorm injury cases to a single judge, but took the unusual step of doing so without designating the litigation as a "mass tort." In Re: Zelnorm Litigation, Case No. 280 (N.J. Super. Ct., Bergen Cty.).

In a Sept. 26 notice, the state's acting administrative director of the courts said that the high court ordered the transfer of all pending and future state court claims arising from the use of Zelnorm to a Superior Court judge in Bergen County.
