CLEVELAND - Lincoln Electric Co. has asked a federal court to postpone a scheduled Jan. 24 case management conference in a recently filed declaratory judgment action until it can perfect service on the insurer defendants. Lincoln Electric Co. v. The Travelers Casualty and Surety Co., et al., No. 1:11-cv-2253 (N.D. Ohio).

Lincoln noted in its Dec. 13 motion that it has until Feb. 17, or 120 days from the date of filing, to perfect service on The Travelers Casualty and Surety Co. and St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Co. in its bid for coverage of welding fume personal injury …
