C-Qur Hernia Mesh Cases Sent to MDL in New Hampshire

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Nearly two dozen federal lawsuits alleging injuries caused by Atrium Medical Corp.’s C-Qur hernia mesh product have been sent to a judge in New Hampshire for coordinated pretrial proceedings.

According to a Dec. 8 order issued by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, Judge Landya B. McCafferty will preside over the cases, which allege that defects in C-Qur mesh cause an allergic or inflammatory response that can lead to sever complications.
