ST. LOUIS –– A Missouri state court has entered a final judgment in what was the third talcum powder case to proceed to trial in the state, ordering that the plaintiff recover a total of $70 million from Johnson & Johnson and Imerys Talc America Inc.

Judge Rex M. Burlison of the Missouri Circuit Court for St. Louis City entered the judgment on Nov. 16, more than two weeks after the jury reached its verdict.

In the judgment, Judge Burlison noted that the jury found Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies Inc. 90 percent at fault, and Imerys Talc 10 percent …
