MINNEAPOLIS –– A notice of death has been filed in a Minnesota benzene case and the plaintiffs have subsequently asked the court for permission to file an amended complaint, saying that they need to change the terminology of the trustee for the heirs of the decedent.

In a Nov. 21 motion with the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, the plaintiff sought leave to file a fourth amended complaint, saying that the proposed amendment to the terminology in the complaint will “expedite and facilitate the completion of settlement paperwork.”
