CHICAGO –– The 7th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has issued an order denying the Coalition for Litigation Justice Inc.’s motion for leave to file an amicus curiae brief on behalf of the defendants involved in an appeal over “cumulative exposure” or “any exposure” theories of causation.

In a one-page order issued Oct. 17, the 7th Circuit said that the Coalition for Litigation Justice’s motion for leave to file the brief was denied.
