11th Circuit Grants Wright Hip Implant Plaintiff Extension on Filing Appellate Brief

ATLANTA –– The 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has granted a hip implant plaintiff an extension of time for filing her appellee brief in the appeal of a $2.1 million judgment entered in her favor.

The 11th Circuit issued the order on July 20, giving plaintiff Robyn Christiansen until Aug. 17 to file the aforementioned brief.

Wright Medical Technology Inc. filed the appeal, asking the 11th Circuit to address whether the defendant is entitled to judgment in its favor on all claims or a new trial, in part, on the ground that a second verdict reflected jury bias …
