TRENTON, N.J. — The New Jersey federal judge overseeing the Benicar multidistrict litigation has remanded a multi-plaintiff action as to 32 of the plaintiffs, ruling that the court lacks subject matter jurisdiction because those plaintiffs maintain citizenship in the same state where one or more of the defendants are incorporated or have their principal place of business.

In a July 27 order, Judge Robert B. Kugler of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey ruled that the remaining plaintiffs must pursue their claims on an individual basis pursuant to the MDL court’s case management order prohibiting multi-plaintiff …
