Roundup Plaintiffs Move JPML to Create Coordinated Docket for Claims Against Monsanto Co.

WASHINGTON, D.C. –– A number of plaintiffs asserting personal injury claims related to the use of Monsanto Co.’s glyphosate-containing Roundup have moved the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to create a coordinated docket for the pending federal cases.

The motion was filed with the JPML on July 27. In it, the plaintiffs cited more than 20 similar cases pending in courts across the country.

All of the plaintiffs allege that they developed cancer as a result of exposure to glyphosate in Roundup. According to the plaintiffs, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified glyphosate as a …
