OKLAHOMA CITY –– Defendants named in a wrongful death lawsuit involving toxic gas exposure have removed the complaint, citing complete diversity between the plaintiffs and the defendants.

In the June 10 removal notice filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, defendants Exxon Mobil Corp., and XTO Energy Inc. said that they are residents of New Jersey and Delaware, respectively, while the plaintiff is a citizen of Utah.
