Defendants Back Petition for Mandamus Relief, Say 5th Circuit Should Vacate Order on Pinnacle Bellwether Trials

NEW ORLEANS –– The defendants involved in the ongoing litigation related to Pinnacle knee implant claims have filed a reply brief support its appeal with the 5th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, maintaining that the MDL Court still intends to “apply the same misguided ‘door-opening’ approach at the trial that gave rise to many of the gross evidentiary errors highlighted in the petition.”
