Louisiana Federal Court Continues Hearing on Motion to Remand in Benzene Case

NEW ORLEANS –– A Louisiana federal court has continued a hearing to address a motion to remand in a benzene case to June 29, according to a recent order issued by the court.

In the June 15 order, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana said that it will address the motion to remand made by the plaintiffs, who contended in their motion to remand that the removal was a move aimed at denying the plaintiff his day in court.
