Former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Employee Files Suit Against DuPont for Exposure to Ortho-Toluidine

BUFFALO, N.Y. –– A former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. employee has filed a personal injury action in New York federal court, contending that his exposure to ortho-toluidine during the course of his employment caused him to develop bladder cancer.

In the March 11 lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, the plaintiff maintained that DuPont, the manufacturer and distributor of ortho-toluidine, knew that the chemical was dangerous as early as 1991.
