ASHLAND, Ky. — A plaintiff who filed a products liability case against Zimmer Holdings for injuries caused by a hip implant manufactured by the company cannot proceed with his case without expert opinion or physical evidence supporting allegations that the device was defective, a Kentucky federal judge has ruled.
