WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Judicial Panel of Multidistrict Litigation will hear arguments relating to the proposed coordinated docket for all federal lawsuits filed against Atlas Roofing Corp. over the company’s allegedly defective roofing shingles at a hearing on Dec. 5, according to the panel’s hearing order.

The hearing order, issued Oct. 15 by the JPML, indicates that it will hear oral arguments at its December hearing in Las Vegas on the prospects of coordinating the cases, which assert that the shingles crack and blister prematurely, causing water intrusion damage to homes and commercial properties.
