Latest JPML Transfer Order Brings DePuy Pinnacle Hip Implant MDL to 757 Cases

DALLAS — The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation’s latest transfer order has added 17 federal court lawsuits to the DePuy Pinnacle Hip Implant MDL, bringing that coordinated docket to 757 individual cases.

The JPML’s Conditional Transfer Order No. 103 was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas Nov. 14.

The panel noted that since the multidistrict proceeding was created it has already assigned 737 cases to the original three coordinated actions pending before District Judge J. Edgar Kinkeade, not counting the 17 new additions listed in the May 14 order.
