Pradaxa MDL Docket Established in Illinois, HarrisMartin Reports

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has ordered the transfer and consolidation of all pending and future federal lawsuits involving the anticoagulant Pradaxa, HarrisMartin is reporting. In Re: Pradaxa Product Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2385 (JPML).
In an order issued this morning, the JPML assigned the Pradaxa MDL docket No. 2385 to Judge David R. Herndon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.
Plaintiffs filed a petition in May seeking transfer of nearly a dozen Pradaxa personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits, specifically requesting Judge Herndon as transferee judge.
